Free plugins for WordPress and Umbraco

Ready for AI answers.
Free, no account.

Score how likely each page is to be quoted by an AI assistant, add schema.org markup to every page and publish an llms.txt. It all runs inside your CMS, with no FoundWell account.

The plugins

One plugin
for each CMS.

Both do the same work in their own CMS. Install it, and the FoundWell menu appears in your admin.

What the plugin does
on its own.

Everything here works the moment the plugin is active. Nothing is sent to FoundWell: the audit only requests your own pages, to see them as visitors do.

  • WordPress and Umbraco

    AEO audit of every page

A score for how likely an AI engine is to quote the page, what holds it back and how to fix it. Each page keeps its score history, so you see it improve.

  • WordPress and Umbraco

    Quotable passages

The passages an AI engine can lift as a citation, and what weakens the others.

  • WordPress and Umbraco

    Bulk audit

Score all your published pages at once, lowest first, so you know where to start.

  • WordPress and Umbraco

    Schema suggestions

Schema.org markup suggested from each page's content, ready to apply.

  • WordPress and Umbraco

    Automatic schema

JSON-LD in every page's head without touching a template. Pick the schema.org type per content type and which fields fill it, then override or switch it off per page.

  • WordPress and Umbraco

    llms.txt and llms-full.txt

Generated from your published content, so AI assistants get a clean map of your site. Leave out the pages or content types you want to keep out.

  • WordPress

    WooCommerce products

Fills in what WooCommerce's own product markup leaves out, such as a brand or MPN from a custom field.

  • WordPress

    Share images

Without Yoast SEO or Rank Math, the featured image becomes the image people see when a page is shared.

  • Umbraco

    One llms.txt per site

On a multi-site install, each domain gets the llms.txt of its own root, with its own title, summary and excluded pages.

With a FoundWell subscription

The same plugin.
Now FoundWell does the work.

Connect your site to FoundWell and the plugin becomes the way in: FoundWell uses it for what your CMS has no API for. Around it, FoundWell publishes up to 12 articles a month, fixes your pages every day, checks that Google indexes them and tracks what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI answers say about you.

$1,000 a month per site · cancel any time

Through the plugin, FoundWell

  • Writes meta titles and descriptions, into Yoast SEO or Rank Math when you use one · WordPress
  • Sets schema per page, next to what your theme or SEO plugin prints
  • Adds 301 redirects for moved and broken URLs on your site
  • Writes your llms.txt from your business facts, and corrects it when an AI assistant gets a fact wrong

The connection stays off until an administrator turns on Allow FoundWell in the plugin's settings. FoundWell can't turn it on itself.

FAQ

Good to know.

Are the FoundWell plugins really free?

Yes. The WordPress plugin is GPLv2 and the Umbraco package is MIT licensed. The audit, schema and llms.txt work without a FoundWell account and without a time limit.

Do the plugins send my data to FoundWell?

No. Without a subscription the plugins never contact FoundWell. The audit only requests your own site's pages. With a subscription, FoundWell connects to your site, not the other way round, and only after an administrator turns on Allow FoundWell.

Does it work with Yoast SEO or Rank Math?

Yes. When either is active, automatic schema stays off, since they print their own, and the plugin doesn't print share images. With a subscription, FoundWell writes meta titles and descriptions into Yoast SEO or Rank Math, so you keep editing them in one place.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

FoundWell stops working on your site, and the plugin keeps doing everything it does for free. The redirects, schema and llms.txt FoundWell set stay on your site until you change or remove them.
