Get your site ready for AI answers: an AEO audit of every page, automatic schema.org markup and an llms.txt. Free, no account needed.

== Description ==

**Get your WordPress site ready for AI answers. Free, no account.**

When people ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Google's AI answers for a recommendation, those assistants can only name the sites they can read and quote. This plugin shows you how quotable each page is, adds schema.org markup to every page and publishes an llms.txt, all from a FoundWell menu in the WordPress admin and a FoundWell panel in the editor.

= Free, without an account =

Everything here works the moment the plugin is active. Nothing is sent to FoundWell: the audit only requests your own pages, to see them as visitors do.

* **AEO audit of every post.** A score for how likely an AI engine is to quote the post, what holds it back and how to fix it. Each post keeps the scores of its last 20 audits, so you see it improve.
* **Quotable passages.** The passages an AI engine can lift as a citation, and what weakens the others.
* **Bulk audit.** Score every published post of a type at once, lowest first, so you know where to start. Password-protected posts are skipped.
* **Schema suggestions.** Schema.org markup suggested from each post's content, applied with one click.
* **Automatic schema.** JSON-LD on every post without touching your theme. Pick the schema.org type per post type and which fields fill it, including taxonomies and custom fields, then override it per post. It stays off when Yoast SEO or Rank Math prints its own.
* **llms.txt and llms-full.txt.** Generated from your published content, up to 500 entries per post type, so AI assistants get a clean map of your site. Leave out the post types or single posts you want to keep out.
* **WooCommerce products.** Fills in what WooCommerce's own Product markup leaves out, such as a brand or MPN from a custom field.
* **Share images.** Without Yoast SEO or Rank Math, the featured image becomes the image people see when a page is shared.

[FoundWell](https://foundwell.net/) is SEO, AEO and GEO on autopilot. Connect your site and the plugin becomes the way in: FoundWell publishes through the WordPress REST API and uses the plugin for what that API lacks. Through the plugin, FoundWell:

* writes meta titles and descriptions per post and page, into Yoast SEO or Rank Math when you use one,
* sets schema per page, next to what your theme or SEO plugin prints,
* adds 301 redirects for moved and broken URLs on your site,
* writes your llms.txt from your business facts, and corrects it when an AI assistant gets a fact wrong.

Around that, FoundWell publishes up to 12 in-depth articles a month, fixes your existing pages every day, checks that Google indexes them and tracks what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI answers say about you, with a weekly report on what moved. Run it on autopilot, or approve each change yourself.

If you cancel, the plugin keeps doing everything it does for free, and the redirects, schema and llms.txt FoundWell set stay on your site until you change them.

$1,000 a month per site, cancel any time. [Set up your site at foundwell.net](https://foundwell.net/).

= FoundWell is a paid service =

This plugin is the connector for FoundWell, a paid service run by Datapad in the Netherlands. You need a FoundWell account for publishing, page fixes and AI answer tracking; the audit, automatic schema and generated llms.txt work without one.

The plugin itself never contacts FoundWell or any other server. The audit only requests your own site's pages, to see them as visitors do. FoundWell connects to your site through the WordPress REST API, using an Application Password you create for it, and writes posts, pages, meta, schema, redirects and llms.txt. It reads your published content to plan and fix pages.

The connection is off until you turn on Allow FoundWell under FoundWell > Settings. While it is off, the plugin's endpoints answer only people signed in to your site, and FoundWell's meta fields are hidden from the REST API. Posts and pages can still be written through WordPress's own REST API with an Application Password; revoke it to stop that.

== Installation ==

1. Download the plugin zip from FoundWell, upload it under Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin, then activate it.
2. Under FoundWell > Settings, turn on Allow FoundWell.
3. Under Users > Profile, create an Application Password. An Editor can publish articles and meta. Redirects and llms.txt need an Administrator.
4. Enter your site address, the username and the Application Password in FoundWell.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need a FoundWell account? =

Not for the audit, the automatic schema and the generated llms.txt; those work on their own. Publishing articles, fixing pages and tracking AI answers need FoundWell. You can sign up at [foundwell.net](https://foundwell.net/).

= Does it work with Yoast SEO or Rank Math? =

Yes. When either is active, meta titles and descriptions are written into that plugin, so it keeps printing the tags and you keep editing them in one place. JSON-LD schema from FoundWell is added next to theirs. Automatic schema stays off, since they print their own; only the fill-in for WooCommerce products still runs. The plugin doesn't print a share image either.

= Where is llms.txt served? =

At /llms.txt on your site. When FoundWell has written one, that is served; otherwise the plugin generates it from your published content, unless you switch that off under FoundWell > llms.txt. /llms-full.txt adds the full text of each page. This needs WordPress to run at the root of your domain, and a real llms.txt file on the server takes precedence.

= Can FoundWell turn the connection on itself? =

No. It can't be turned on through the REST API; an administrator turns it on under FoundWell > Settings. Turning it off stops FoundWell from changing meta, schema, redirects and llms.txt, while what it already set keeps working. Posts and pages go through WordPress's own REST API, so to stop those, revoke the Application Password.

= What happens if I cancel my subscription? =

FoundWell stops working on your site, and the plugin keeps doing everything it does for free. The redirects, schema and llms.txt FoundWell set stay on your site until you change or remove them.

= What happens when I delete the plugin? =

Its settings, redirects, llms.txt, audit history and the meta titles, descriptions and schema it stored are removed. Meta that was written into Yoast SEO or Rank Math stays there. On a multisite network, only the main site's data is removed.
